Actually watched most of the game last night, as interesting as the bland FAC gets these days.

It was a genuine upset, as was WHU losing at Wmbldn.

The teams at the top and bottom end of the PL see the FAC as a distraction, but fans of clubs in the middle like EFC and WHU see it as their only realistic chance of glory and their season loses its purpose if they go out and and are safe from relegation.

Silva and Pellegrini will come under scrutiny now.

About 46 mins in, Dennis Burnett and Alf Wood at Goodison.
Another 2 ex City who arrived with good form but it never really worked for them in a City shirt IIRC. Think Burnett then went to Brighton and helped them into the top league and didn't Alf return with a non league team in the FA cup , maybe Stafford or Blythe in the late 70's . Know that footage is from 45 years ago but just think how many of those players are now gone .

Crock of ****...

“As is Commonplace ...” says it all.

If they were serious about rooting out the scumbags close the stand & suspend everybody who was in there until sufficient names have been given.

All who were stood in the stand, either chanting or not, are responsible. If you were chanting you’re a ****. If you stood next to someone chanting & did nothing you’re a ****. Ban them all & chuck them out of the Cup.

A bunch of kids I could almost understand but there's an adult orchestrating that, I'm gobsmacked.

Wow, that needs forwarding to social services.

Don't know what's more bizarre; the fact that the woman is old enough to be his grandma (or possibly even his great-grandma) or that he's dressed as a police officer.

Truly odd.

Complete Scum Club.

Here's what one posted on an EFC forum after the game, I have italicised some of it:

"Frankly, to tell you what you probably already know - that was genuinely the easiest game we have had all season. Lookman, Tosun when he came on and Coleman who is honest as the day is long apart - your premier league poseurs have no heart, no fight, and no pride whatsoever in your club badge - they don't care about Everton FC and they dont give a toss about you the fans. £50M players? My god - our entire team cost anout £1.8M in total and I think we overpaid! How can you relate to those charlatans? How can you feel that these totally disconnected mercenaries really represent you and your proud community? Absolutely shameful and even though you may hate us and look down on us - our beloved Millwall are everything we want them to be - the football club, the players who represent our football club and our fiercely loyal and proud fans on the pitch, and our fans. We are real people with a real traditional football club which remains completely in sync and as one with our fans (they know they have to represent us on the pitch and what we expect and demand of them or we get em out very quickly) - and what we are is enough for us and we wouldn't change a thing. We are happy with our club, our manager, our style of play, our passion, our uniqueness, our fans and the honest effort and heart our players put into their game - and we can relate to them coz they are an extension of us. And we are happy we are through to the 5th Round of the FA Cup with the easiest win we have had all season. Your players just take your money and give you nothing back - they don't care about Everton FC.

We knew we would beat you today coz you have not fight and no heart."

We can only aspire to have a collective spirit of togetherness like that club has.Ours lost its way several years ago.

10 years since Millwall brought that mob up here, ripped out our seats, charged towards East Stand, sang we pay your benefits etc, resulting in Humberside OB arresting 12 City fans and no one from Millwall.

And someone in charge that day has prospered ever since!

So many sweeping statements and unsubstantiated opinions - not worthy of a response.

On a separate issue, Neil Harris ' attempt to pervert the course of justice by trying to stop replays of their second goal is very damaging to him, his club and football in general.

He's basically trying to cover up cheating, or at least block attempts at scrutiny.

Ah well, the romance of the cup....

Asking for a video replay to be stopped is now a criminal offence? Even if the ref had seen it there’s nothing he could have done after awarding the goal.

Refs get decisions wrong all the time, it’s part of why football is so wonderful.

Football is being spoiled, in my unsubstantiated opinion. by the introduction of ginmicks like goal line technology & VAR to assist the refs. They do nothing to enhance the game for spectators but do pander to the needs of the armchair fans. You appear to believe it was spoiled when racist chanting & Stanley slashing was outlawed.

Basically I think the cameras pointing at the game are spoiling the fun whereas you believe it’s the cameras pointing at the crowds that are spoiling it.

If there was nowt the ref could do, then seems odd that NH was so agitated to get the replay stopped.

Football and it's crazy new regs eh?

Agree about the cameras pointing at the crowd. Brings out the worst in people who love playing to an audience, and panders to the social media lynch mob.

So the racists and violent scumbags trying to drag football, and the country, back to the 70s and 80s is represented by their fans and community.

Easier to ignore that clear message if it suits your agenda doesn’t it?
