    This is such a sweet song, happy but melancholic at the same time.

    Didn't realise he sang that song, have always liked it. Loved the Monkees TV prog as a kid and all their songs. Talent must run in the family, his mother invented Tippex.

    America's answer to the Beatles ! remember their shows in the late 1960's they were great, like the goodies but with with music.

    my real introduction to music, 11 years older sister who loved the monkees and had one of those little 'attache case' record players (remember them?)

    She did. And made hundreds of millions out of it. Half of it , I think went to Mike, after his Monkees years.
