To me their has been a trend in recent events in terms of signings for the toon.

That is that Mike wants rid of slower, more overrated players like Barton, Nolan, Carroll and Routledge to be replaced by more fresher and quicker talent such as Cabaye and Ben Arfa.

Such is the desperation to keep players with pace itr seems that Mike Ashley does not want to sell Enrique unless a high bid comes.

And I do believe that he is correct in doing this especially as the modern premier league requires quicker players.

I think you toon fans should therefore, be optimistic of more players coming through and hopefully for you more slower players like Ranger will be sold with faster strikers like Lovenkrands, Ba, Best and possibly another striker being the main strikers up-front. I would add Ameobi to the "to-go" list except who would want to buy him anyway?

???

but yes we are optimistic

say this about jose enrique, he's quick, he's fast and he's got pace.

you seem to have one characteristic on your mind judging by your previous posts...

This guy is a WUM, just so you know. Posted a near identical post on our own board, It's rather sad really.

What a ****ing stupid article. Wayne Routledge is one of the fastest players in the Premier League, are you saying he's better than Gerrard or Joey Barton?

His pace is not used in a sufficient way unlike players like N'Zogbia, who I feel has been rather missed by Newcastle over the years.

Also I feel that the return of Ben Arfa will allow the team the progress and improve because of the pace add to the side
