Darnell Furlong's long throws have been a real weapon for West Brom throughout and they get their reward this time!

Sheffield United can't deal with it and Jack Robinson can only head the ball past stand-in keeper Michael Verrips.
 
Middlesborough happy to try and sit on this one and seek to keep it at 1-0 and 1-0 only.

As soon as they scored, which was after about 15 mins (?), they've been trying to waste time and just keep it as it is.
 
Ffs, i hate Boro. Time wasting from 10 minutes in. Set up to totally frustrate us. Dont know what it looks like on the tv but our front players (especially Dykes) look cemented in the ground. De Wijs keeps looking for movement and its non existent. We are getting sucked into their game. We will defo have a man sent off soon. Get Austin on to wisen up our attack. Boro atmosphere crap, we are making more noise

Boro have been time wasting since they scored. Last part of the half they have stopped us playing. Everything starts from De Wyjs, and usually ends there.

I would definitely bring on Austin at some point. Dykes not up to much. So much so that Ball has occasionally tried to do his job for him.

If I was born and lived in Middlesboro, I would support Sunderland.

This (PL) ref is allowing them to constantly waste time. Some corners and free kicks take more than a minute. Most of their 25% possession is while taking free kicks and corners.

We need to get Charlie on.

I also note that Boro seem to have a knack for sort of half fouling... not fully committing and taking the player out, but knocking him off his stride so that he can't really play the ball, ref plays on and doesn't see anything wrong.
