They reckon the tackle on tricky was good..in lead up to second goal...
Came in from the side, ref gave those all game, hope Dykes is ok as Austin will be getting a 3 match ban havent got a clue what he was thinking. What I love about this squad is that we appear to have like for like replacements for most positions( Chair and Willock unfortunately are the 2 players i don't think we have a suitable replacement as Thomas is not up to this standard, and not convinced as yet with Bettache) but all in all its looking like a great season ahead. Loved seeing Warnock lose the plot hasn't lost his desire despite his age! Another great resolute performance with great attacking options role on the sky cameras on Saturday

And now Chuck Faulkner with the late news….

You Blooody Ripper, another win!
Get in there!
Yeah baby!

The ref apparently said to Colin he saw the "clash of heads" involving Hall and Charlie and thought it was not deliberate.
So if the ref saw it can it still be referred back for retrospective judgement.

I expect it can...and Colin will press for it.

So really think we will lose Charlie for 3 or maybe 4 matches ( he got a 3 match last season on a retrospective). He really needs to cut this out..

We could be a little short of players by Saturday...no Charlie, no Moses, no Wallace, hope Dykes is not injured too

That would be really poor effort if our old manager did that to us.
He has nothing to achieve by it and can only be seen as sour grapes.

I'm pretty sure if the ref saw it, it can't be referred. Still a highly irresponsible thing for Austin to have done, which could easily have cost us the game.

Come on. Punishment might deter Austin from head butting someone else. We all know Colin is a nasty piece of work, but (although I haven’t seen the incident) going by the reaction and comment on here Charlie deserves a ban. He’s meant to be a role model, a senior pro at the club.

From all I've heard if the Referee said he saw it as a clash of heads and gave them a free as he did, that's it finished.

Austin needs to cut that sort of thing out though if it was intentional, which he has denied.
