When alls said and done, I was disappointed Dawson has continued with same old same old.

We are so bad right now, we needed to pretty wholesale changes, be that personnel, game plan, team shape.

5 at the back, shut up shop and gerrit forrads would have been an ideal way to approach todays game. IMO.

Who the **** are you to call me a bellend and a ****.
Sounds like I hit a nerve and you don't like being called out for what you are and I can do that without having to call you names.

You go and (ahem) "support" the team by calling them gash

Okay, bellend-****.

Omur? Really? As usual he looked like a 14 year-old competition winner. Creates nothing and easily brushed off the ball, fail to see what he brings to the team.

Fair comment just trying to find some positive within the garbage

Are they just the new words you've learnt today don't worry one day you might be able to discuss and disagree with someone without acting like a little kid in the play ground until them you keep following the team

Cute.

He may do that when he's had a bit more time to work with them.

We will genuinely give teams problems with diagonal balls in behind for wide men/strikers to run onto and then midfield runners to support.

It may seem against the grain of “everyone try and play like Spain” that modern football is wedded to, but it’s a good tactic and miles better than what we’re trying to do at the moment. It’s not “long ball football” before anyone moans.

Performance wasn’t as bad as some are suggesting. I was just disappointed to see a lack of bravery in team selection (1 striker as usual - will never understand it) and the way some of our players do something good (e.g. turn on the ball and lose their man), only to then pick the backwards option and un-do their positive play/kill the momentum. This happened a lot and should be looked at. Middlesbrough did the opposite today, and it’s why they had a lot more chances.

We don’t have the players we had last season. But we aren’t a bottom 3 squad. We need a positive and experienced manager who can change the mood around the place.

I think this is about as good as we could’ve expected today. Shown enough. Pedro is done, Bedia has to start as most have been saying for weeks. I do think with palmer, Omur, Marvin and puerta, we’ve atleast got some tidy options if we go back to basics and can actually play through midfield
....and Alzate when (finally) fit again

That was ****.
Boro sleepwalked to a 3-1 win.

Yes it’s a tough gig for Andy Dawson with little time on the training pitch but he could have made a start by picking players to play in their natural positions.

He’s not up to the job and the longer we remain without a Manager, the more points we will drop.

For Dawson to stick with the same set up today spoke volumes of his abilities IMO. He had the chance to change it, including the fannying about at the back as well as the original team. He needs to go when the new man comes in. He's been complicit in all that has gone wrong IMO

Ömür on the wing, Ömür in the middle…

He has technical ability but physically he’s nowhere near cut out for the physical aspect of English football and that’s why he was in Turkey as long as he was despite being linked with Liverpool, Man City and other big clubs in Europe a few years ago. The guy’s 25 but still has the physicality of an under-15s academy player. It’s not just height either. Plenty of short players like Sterling have good upper-body strength. Ömür doesn’t.

They barely needed to get out of neutral.
