Really interested to see what Daws does for LB considering he was one himself.
Im hoping Giles can get a new lease with a manager that plays him like Boro did. Let him attack more and use the other defenders to cover in a back 3 when we have the ball. For all his benefits Drameh doesn’t have a left foot and it causes so much imbalance

I agree, but I’m not sure the best time to bring Giles back into the fold is up against Ben Doak.
If I were to bring Giles back in it'd be as a wingback in front of a back 3 and go 2 up top. Burstow running the channels and probably Pedro as he seems the better finisher ahead of Bedia.
Probably a bit too much of a change though, given they'll probably only have today and a light session tomorrow before travelling in order to work on it

Yeah I know there was some confusion about the card picked up with Wigan that's all.
Don't expect much tomorrow results wise - maybe a draw?
However we need to show the opposite of the effort put in on Tuesday night.
Just show that you're prepared to fight for the club and give your all.

I know there's a lot of love for Hughes (in fact seems he can do no wrong for some fans) but 5 yellows when he only came into the team at the beginning of the 9 game winless run isn't a great statistic. Macca feels like a Daws sort of player to me - wonder if he might be part of a back 3 with Jones and Coyle.
Pretty sure when Daws was coach before he played Longman more centrally and he ran the channels really well. Wouldn't surprise me if he did that again alongside Pedro.
