Best of luck to Andy Dawson today. It's a tough ask going up there and they'll be eager to erase their defeat at the hands of Blackburn. Not overly confident we can match them football wise but I'm hopeful that Andy will have instilled a bit of grit and determination into them... Come on City,1200 have made the effort to follow, reward them. UTT!!
Pre match drinks for many are part and parcel of an away day, often the best part. The pay per view tv companies, and the two faced whingers that fund them, are taking this away. It's pointless explaining it to those that will never get it, so that is all. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
If Syd is blonde I'm adjusting the settings on my TV. Oh, and Ineos do a nice shade for you, h2so4. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Yeah Some were saying that as one was at Wigan in a different league before he signed it doesn't count
You're right, I'll never understand why downing pints before football is such a crucial ingredient that one would rather not bother going at all because they can't do it. I love a drink while watching football, both during and after the game, but if it starts too early in the day to catch up with mates beforehand, we'll grab a drink after. A 12.30 kick off is perfect for a drink afterwards while catching scores in other games and you're home at the same time you would be for a 3pm kick off. People who think traditions/routines are immovable and inflexible are the ones who 'don't get it'.
So wonder whether Daws will ask them to do a watered down Walterball or Rosieball or hoofball? Anyone know his philosophy?
