Match Day Thread Middlesbrough v Hull City

I noticed that the keeper that day, Joe Lumley, played for Southampton last night. Didn’t have him down as a Premier League larker when he ushered that one in two years ago.

 

Cracking away day that. Weird how Shota went from okay for that half season to Walter esque the next

 

I usually make Boro a set in stone away fixture but the 12.30 kick off has killed that idea...**** getting up at 6a.m to arrive in Middlesbrough and rush one pint down your neck before running up to the stadium.

If people are downing pints of beer just cos then they've got bigger problems than making a football match at lunchtime.

 

It involves a bus to Glasgow,Glasgow Queen St to Edinburgh,Edinburgh to Darlington and Darlington to Boro...Takes just shy of 5 hrs if everything runs on time.One delay anywhere along the way and you're done for.It's not ideal from Hull either?

Not sure I'm the one being a **** questioning why someone sees downing a pint as a mandatory part of a pregame ritual.

Just watch the game then go for a drink after. Not difficult.

 

Watching City this season I find it easier to start drinking as soon as I wake up on match days.
