The club were not expecting him back in training. Its a mutual agreement between the club and the player. I've said this from the outset under no circumstances was Michu going to be allowed to return to the squad for training. This is why the club are still paying him his salary

Wrong...If michu wanted to come back then the club dont have much choice, Monk contacted michu and told him he must return so its not the clubs fault he never...you cant tell a player not to return <laugh> He has a contract and would have a field day in court...<ok>

Then surely that works the other way as well. Why are we paying him if he has chosen not to return.

Dai, you expected him back at training.
I said if he wants to play football then he has to report back and im spot on with this......I also said nobody knows what michu will do so nobody can say now that i knew he wouldn't be back because you did not know.....your twisting my meaning......

The club don't have to take him back even if he wants to. All they have to do is keep paying his wages until his contract runs out.

I hope we are not paying him. he has to be suspended and stopped from playing for anyone else or there is things we dont know going on with michu and the club.....Can you imagine telling your boss that im not working for you anymore but i still expect wages every week ..<laugh>

It's speculation, we don't have any idea what has been agreed with Michu, I suspect that everything has already been sorted with him and a move. And stuff you are seeing now has nothing really to do with us as he's already had his contract terminated. Think he's gone on a free therefore saving the swans a fair whack on wages

You were pretty adamant that he'd be back training though <laugh>
Sorry i wasn't ......what part of i dont know and neither does anyone else on here dont you understand..........its fairly basic for the average fan to understand what i mean by me saying i dont know all the way through the post......<ok>

So are we happy if we let him go for nothing so we can get him off the wage bill. Its kind of like a 2 million transfer fee.

Monk has confirmed that Michu will not be returning to the club under any circumstances. He has not spoken to Michu for twelve months and all negotiations on his departure have been between Huw Jenkins and Michu's agent.
