Dunno why he cant just retire from the game gracefully. do his media stuff and keep his ****ing gob shut. He's made a cracking living and lifestyle out of playing football...neebody gives a **** about who he likes and dislikes. Never in the papers for all the wrong reasons, no scandals or sex/drink/drug stories (that I can remember at least), quite why he feels the need to start having a pop at people now is beyond me....apart from wanting to peddle his book of course. He's a grade a ****ing snowflake and wouldn't say half the **** he's spouting about in his books to peoples faces.

As for Liverpool hating him, probably a bit harsh although there will be sections of their fanbase who probably do. They didn't want him back though when he left Real Madrids so he'll probably start having a pop at them next, although he's already started with Stevie G. Wonder who'll be next?

Why do we even need a book from the ****? Everyone remembers him, a clean cut little Mercenary who had a few promising years at Liverpool then did nothing.... its hardly gonna be sex, drugs and rock n roll, or murder, mystery and suspense.

Basically it's just gonna be the whiney little **** blaming everyone else for why his career never amount to what it should have, and trying to get back at all the fans thtt hate him. A bit like Joey Barton's book of endless excuses and lies.

I mean for Christ sake!!! Michael owen told me some home truths , so I'm going to act like a child and spit at him...

Where did I say that? I said there was a fair few facts in there...which I agree with. That doesn't mean with everything in the post.

I've already compared his career's further up with Shearer, Giggs, Gerard. To say that he's played for the best clubs in the world is a bit of a stretch like, he played for Liverpool who were no great shakes without him to be fair at the time. Played for Real Madrid (partly) and even less so for Man Utd....hardly covered himself in glory at Real or Man Utd tho did he?

Why the **** you defending him anyway? Is it cos we all hate him and you're just trying to get a rise out of us for ****s and gigs?
 
btw I love it when people conclude what everyone thinks ! even if they all hate him it only backs up my claim

1 in 9 games for Stoke, 3 in 19 league games in his first season at Man U, 8 from 28 league games in his last season with us :emoticon-0112-wonde

Well he did get 3 in 4 games in his last season at Man U, they were against Aldershot and Leeds though.

You're not the mental 80 year old who tried to give me a "telling off" for saying Stephen Carr was ****e when he had a stinker at Fulham 12 years ago are you?

If so, sorry for telling you to naff off, but the fact "he's wearing the shirt" isn't really susificent justification for him being allowed to play like an intoxicated donkey.

I'm not even going to get into that he said she said bollocks. When you use words like "i firmly believe" it smacks a bit of not having a ****ing clue generally and just spouting off for the sake of it without having any substance to back up any of the bollocks coming out of his mouth.

Do you not just think he's an angry little **** who's a bit upset that he's not given god like status at a club (his beloved Liverpool). Wherever he's gone he's been overshadowed by someone, Stevie G at Liverpool, Shearer at Newcastle. It's just sour grapes and bollocks to sell his book man. He's obviously sucked you in, have you bought it yet?
