That may be an issue Swim, it is a 2 yr deal that laudrup has here isnt it ? it will be intresting to see what happens but i think most fans can accept Laudrup moving on, he may well suprise us and want to stay longer, judging by the way he celebrated the goals against Chelsea id say he is loving stuffing it up the big boys!! and he may well see a team like us as the best way to show people his skills without having the day to day pressure of being at a big club.

Even Mourinho only left Porto when he considered his work was complete, ie qualify for Europe, win in Europe (truly his greatest achievement as it was without big bucks)...who knows where ML thinks the end game is with us? He took Getafe to Europe but the board scuppered his chances and he fell out with them and they/ he moved on.
Does he feel he has unfinished business. Perhaps he wants to do a Mourinho ....... if only! Will the board back him if he wants to try and take us to that level? People say I'm a dreamer .....

Time will tell, but whatever happens we have been blessed by the presence of The Prince of Denmark and we will look back on these days with a big grin.

enjoy the ride while he is here i say and see who will be the next manager will be. I never expect any manager that we have to last long if a super club takes an interest in him as thats the way it is im afraid. Its no problem we move on...Nobody likes to lose a manager but he is here temporary and will do his utmost best while he is here, Its his job and chosen career and like everything else if a better club comes along like real madrid then of course he would be well interested. he wont stay because "he loves the club" or the beautiful scenery of the gower coast or his work is not finished here...all that crap is what fans say but is not the reality....The only chance he will stay is if the job gets offered to someone else or the special one decides to stay...Its no good worrying about it as the club is not going anywhere and we will have another temporary manager in charge...

When you think about it, were are a breeding ground for PL managers. So in 10 years Swansea could have supplied half the PL managers.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

I have to say another thing, the amount of people from all over the place that have said "fair play that home kit of yours is freaking awesome" or words to that effect have also added to our charm. It is one of the nicest kits ive ever seen let alone nicest swans kit! many people say how cool it looks ..every little bit helps when your trying to create a sustainable football club, makes it all the more frustrating when we know we cant get any more of them!!

Totally agree Norway, the kit is beautiful. I know some people don't really like Adidas but for me they have always come up with the best looking kits.

I suppose if we keep having our managers poached, then it suggests that we are continuing to "punch above our weight"

Now thats a saying that p***es me off, What does it mean ? ,we're in the League on merit, more than competing ,,yes we're a small club in terms of money but it's still 11 v 11 on the pitch.
One thing made me smile yesterday , all the players flash cars at the Stadium yesterday and Ben Davies strolls across the car park and theres me wondering what he's driving and lo and behold a Golf I don't know if he borrowed his mum's car but theres an example how far he's come in such a short time but not fully benefiting from the rewards it can bring.

Ben seems a very level headed guy and very much like joe allen in that respect, i Think joe had a smart car if im not mistaken though he probably has upgraded since then.

Ben just needs to keep his feet on the ground, from the little ive heard about him he seems like a very Nice humble guy and an excellent young pro. The Flash cars Will be There for him but it tells you alot about when he drives a normal car and doesnt splash out so soon after getting a rise..maybe upgrade in the summer init ;)

As a young professional footballer, he will possibly not be able to afford the insurance rates on a flash car until he reaches either his next birthday or gets an improved wage! Any insurer will be bricking it incase he crashed while giving the likes of Michu etc a lift home. BIG LOSS OF EARNINGS CLAIMS!

we will always be a club punching above our weight because we are classed as small fry in a big pond. It does not matter im enjoying it while it lasts. we are not the only ones in the premiership there are many more at the same level. we are no man utd, city, chelsea, liverpool or arsenal status yet, we may beat these teams now and again but we are pretenders and rightly so. we have to be here for years and win things before we will be accepted and we have our first run on the ladder still here on our second season and in with a good chance of a major cup..
