Disastrous if true. I've not really had much disdain for Donald (unlike Methven). I always thought he was for the most part a genuine bloke who was just a bit out of his depth. But there's no chance he'll survive the fallout of this without it getting nasty.

If this is the case Donald MUST have repaid the £10million loan as it’d be a conflict of interests- not allowed by the EFL.

FPP are not Michael Dell. They were never MSD. That's a positive, so start there.
However, depending on whether any Derby 'arrangement' is via MSD, or a personal arrangement by Dell, it would impact us as Piatek and Phelan are still members of the MSD board. Phelan in particular wouldn't be able to do both I don't believe.

The 'loan' still exists when, in fact, it couldn't if they'd invested in Derby.
As per my last message, when MadBob was kicking off, there's been no change ...

To my knowledge the only previous club Dell wanted to invest in was Newcastle

I'm aware that Dell wasn't part of the deal, but reading the article, it sounded to me exactly how our offer did, mentioning Dell and then MSD. I'd be very surprised if it wasn't the same group of people personally and it would make even less sense to me that Dell and his mates want to invest in an English football club but have decided to do it independently.
It's entirely possible yeah, because for all we know it could have been paid back. Until we know Phelan in particular is involved with someone else, I'm not sure it's worth assuming anything though, particularly if they're not named yet and someone else is.
Christ, probably best I don't get involed with whatever this rentaghost chap is on RTG while I feel a bit rough.
