I don't understand the bloke. I think he's very strange. In fact, I get the impression that he's still carrying psychological baggage from his experiences at Man Utd and maybe Real Sociedad. I think there's plenty he hasn't got right so far and that blaming limited budgets only tells half the story. However, he has shown that he has the ability to get a club to where we want to be and so he has to be given time to achieve that. No matter what happens, we can't carry on with this continual cycle of hiring and firing.
Appalling that we're even contemplating this.

Mib for me. Judging by results = terrible. Judging by performance/individual errors= not too bad. Anybody care to remember how long it took SA to sort things out.

Sunderland fans do this even when we have played brilliant. There is no other fans in the country come close to us regarding leaving games early.
I'm on about this all the time mate, I've seen folk leaving on 70mins, many of them.

Two things here. First, I wasn't very clear on my feelings about Moyes. If he can finish this season at 17th or higher, I'm 100% mib - he does have the pedigree If we go down i'm 110% mob. I've seen every relegation since our very first, hated all of them, still hate all of them, and have absolutely zero tolerance for it. We're the eighth biggest spenders in the EPL so don't tell me it's Short's fault.
Secondly, I don't remember any "***** claim" - what was that all about? I do remember giving a cast iron eye-witness account (very fleeting, admittedly!

Here you're saying it was a fleeting thing that you saw but my recollection is that you were confident that it happened regularly and even considered going in for it yourself. You definitely didn't say that one time you briefly glimpsed something dodgy.

I don't have a gripe with him though - he posed a question (physically rather than verbally) and I gave him an answer (physically rather than verbally) by scarpering. There was no harassment, no hassle, and I was hardly 'scarred for life' or anything fashionably modern.But it was certainly a known feature of the Fulwell End at that time. I reckon I must have had about five or six older guys pointed out to me to 'stay away from'. It worked. But, of course, it would work in the opposite direction to some extent as well. Some teenagers would be attracted to those guys for whatever reason (mischief, experiment, curiosity - ha! make your own list of reasons why teenagers do stupid things. There must be a thousand reasons). The modern Sex Offenders' List will doubtless work the same way - there's always going to be the 'naughty' teenager who reads an offender's name and address and thinks ...tonight! Anybody who thinks they're going to obliterate human nature is tackling a very enormous animal. It'll always be there..

When was the last time we finished 'mid-table?' A good percentage of the players that finished last season weren't available due to either injuries or being away and returning late so he was always going to struggle in the first few matches.
Plus, apart from Boro, we have been beaten, as have most other teams who have played them, by Man City, Spurs, Everton and even Palace. Hardly time to lynch the bloke IMO.
Plus, do we just continually sack every manager we get until we get Mr Right? we need stability mate, not another manager merry-go-round.
