Forest did exactly the same as us in terms of setting up. Our execution of it was terrible. If you look at where we concede goals it is very rarely due to us not 'packing' the midfield, the word you used on another thread.

If you assess how we concede goals, it is via other methods, which is probably why Leonid has stuck with this system. We play with two wingers and a number 10, the same as Forest and maybe 8/9 other teams in this league. If you actually took your time to look at how we concede goals and how other teams setup I am sure you would come to a different conclusion. Of course we need to tighten up but last time we won promotion we often played Thudd, Livermore as centre mids, Diame behind a striker with Clucas and Elmo on the wing. The system worked, this time our system is just being executed terribly.

I apologise for trying to use facts and stats on the forum.
**** off silly ****. Clucas and Elmo are right midfield players. Bowen and growshitski are wingers they play higher up the field.
As you don't go don't tell me what I see with my own eyes.

The exact reason I don't post on this forum much anymore.

The inability to have a debate and discussion without reverting to insults.

On topic... I agree they are, and our priority in the transfer market should have been securing wingers who have the ability to defend to give us options rather than sign every central midfielder going. We have no balance to the squad which gives us very few options to change things.

My point was Diame got an unknown amount of criticism (As did Elmo if you want me to provide quotes I can) for not tracking back and been lazy. We also had a very attacking full back. The key was the quality of players we had then compared to now is vastly greater, and our expectations now aren't far off what they where then.

Yeah that was a ridiculous reaction to your post.
