Aye, there was a hell of a lot City fans who used to say Ashbee was ****. People who don't understand football.

People who don't see what the Ashbees and Meyler type players give to a team.

Now of course, no one will own up to being an Ashbee knocker. Everyone sees him as legend.

It's easy to recognise someone like Geovani as a wonderfully gifted footballer, but if you can't see what players like Meyler bring to a 'team', you really don't understand football.

Anyone who knocks Dawson can only be seeing him play on the tv. He is a great leader. Not frightened to give the players around him support or a bollocking. Two or three got one yesterday. Including Meyler.

Ashbee had plenty of knockers when he played the ball back time and time again. Same as Meyler when he gives the ball away like on Saturday.

It's amazing to see people slating Dawson. Where would we be without him? He'll be injured soon enough and then we'll see.

I was being mildly flippant but the fact is that a CB should be able to marshal his defence if nothing else, and our defence has been abysmal to start the season. Dawson is rapidly seeing the game go past him.

Glad to see he's got the defence so well organised, guess it must just be TV viewers seeing him miss headers or intercepts that are leading to goals.

You can't blame daws for the huge errors hector has been making syd.
I can guarantee Dawson does not want to play 3-4-3.

To be honest I'm disappointed in Kingsley but I don't think he's a lwb. Let's hope he can settle into lb. otherwise we've wasted a lot of money on a full back.

I don't think anyone has their head up his arse, Bob. I just think most of us can see he's a better option than anyone else in our centre midfield.

**** it, he's even our best right back.

Not blaming him for the errors of others, but Dawson has made his fair share - such as missed clearances from crosses.
 
And yes, Kingsley was horrid against Sunderland, really hope he can prove me wrong because my first impressions of him have been terrible.

Oh Ye he's not been faultless. But he was miles better yesterday once we had a back four. Even started doing his great cross field balls again.
We must get them playing as a unit. And have a settled back four.

Agreed, he was certainly shakier in a back 3. I'd like him and Tomori to have a run as a pair.
