All of those players will snub United, or already have done.

Even Heskey, who couldn't get a game at Bolton.

Who's Jaomario? He sounds like a Superman III style version of Super Mario...

    Joao Mario

Portugal international. Never seen him play but well regarded (hyped?)

Hmmmm, not sure on Mario or Mane. Would rather see Rooney at CM than try to convert Mane from a winger, and can't see any major benefit to bringing in Mario ahead of Rashford or Lingard. If we go for one, go for Mane as a winger.

Would also probably rather have Varane than Stones. Imo:

    De Gea
    F-M----Smalling----Varane----Shaw
    Matic----Rooney
    Rashford---Zlatan---Mane
    Martial

Unlikely that Rashford will be a regular.

That's a good physical and very mobile line up, I think Shaw 's absence was as critical as any in our poor showings in the CL and premiership. So fingers crossed he'll have a longer run.

Can we rename this thread the Matth thread?

It would be a lovely ironic title as he won't set foot on this thread <ok>

Going to be a crazy summer with all the Twitter-fuelled threads.

I'd agree on Varane over Stones 100%.

I don't think we need to sign that many players really. I think my alterations would work a treat.

Would love to sign Mahrez. Don't see the point in Matic.

Aye, Mahrez would be a great signing, but I honestly can't see him moving this summer. He might be available in January if Leicester fall short in the CL and struggle in the league tho'.

Edit: just seen you changed the team in the quote. Yeah, that looks pretty strong, particularly if we keep Carrick and Blind as CM backups. Rashford and Lingard as wide subs would also be great off the bench and in some games.

So if Zlatan signs it's only really a CB that we need.

I just hope Mourinho can deal with all the begging letters from worldies wanting to play for him.

Can you smell the fear?
