CR7 said this about Ozil apparently: “He was the player who best knew my moves in front of goal... I'm angry about Ãzil leaving.” And Ramos: Everyone is free to choose the best for themselves, but if I were to decide what was happening at Madrid he would be one of the last who would be going.
It seems our new man wants to feel loved by the fans. If you ****ers don't lift the roof off when he is introduced to you at the first game back, I'm going to go Rambo on you all!
Sadly, distance prevents me from that. I'm over here in the colonies, trying to keep the barbarians, religious outcasts and convicts civilized.
The fans and players of Madrid all seem shocked and angry at Ozil being sold. He was a key player for them and i can't believe we managed to pull off this signing. Wenger is a top manager. I can't wait to see him playing for us!! Why does it have to be a ****ty International break? When will he get a chance to train with the team? I imagine he'll be on the bench for the first game. He is going to get an amazing reception.
I really can't wait to see Ozil play though. Our game is on the 14th, but when do the players get back from international duty? I'm wondering how long he will have had to train with the team prior to the game. Most likely not enough to start the game for us. We should see him come on as a sub though.
Still not convinced. His time at Madrid showed he is very weak mentally, and prone to hissy fits. Put that in with our loser mentality, it could be a disaster waiting to happen. Look at Arshavin. Same sort of player, that one really didn't work out.
Your determined to try and be negative about this lol. Ozil is World Class. His time at Madrid showed he can be instrumental in a top team on the top stage. It showed he can be incredibly creative and chip in with a good amount of goals. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23958489 - some nice reading for you. Shows some good comparisons and quotes.
Which we aren't. He's always had an attitude problem, even back with Bremen, so if we don't up our game, he's just going to be arshavin mk.2
How about "Booooooooooooooooooooooooozil!"? That way when you boo your team off the pitch you have a good cover story, like you did with Eboue
And i'm not being negative, i'm just not getting carried away by the fact that we signed an unfit, unstable player with severe stamina issues. I'm not backing him for 2 months, giving him a probationary period, if he fails to excel, then i would be proven right, if he's awesome, i will gladly eat humble pie.
Transparent bitterness there I'm afraid Edmund. The only ones getting booed this season will be Moyes' misfits
I didn't eat any, because i was right (as usual). Wenger failed to address squad issues, instead signing a marquee player who; A) Won't have the impact you all think B) We didn't need C) Isn't as good as Santi
