Agree. Being surrounded by great player doesn't make you any better than your natural ability level. I play six aside on a Thursday. The other five are pretty decent. I am ****. I am still **** when playing in the same team as five very good players. Not that they're Barca quality obviously, but you see my point.

There are 2 or 3 lads in the Barca line up tonight that I haven't heard of before. They just keep developing them don't they.

They do have a good youth system, but they've also been busy buying up the best prospects from around the world when they hit their late teens...after all, if Barca wants you these days, would you want to play for anyone else?

Though, I do think Villa would score more goals for them if it weren't for Messi banging so many in. He's the best in the world, no doubt, but its not exactly fair to compare the totals of his teammates to him when the offence goes through him the way that it does.
