Ah, those semicircle hoops on the top of the terrace fencing.

I was a very small Brian who got his first Spurs shirt and was due to go to this game but it was postponed........

Greavesie was still with the club........this will get the tears flowing.

This was the harshest of harsh winters, 1963, the year little Brian came screeching into the world........just in time for our first European trophy and to have missed our greatest year.......fashionably late as always.

You might want to remind the Daily Mail readers who claim they crawled to school naked in six foot snowdrifts in their day, unlike the soft generation of today who freak out because of a mild blizzard outside...

Man that was a bad one. The cold spell lasted until around Easter. And the snow just kept coming and coming. No way they could cope with it. We lived on a hill - quite a busy road normally - people were skiing and tobogganing down the middle of it,

    That’s how bad it was!.

Has been many years since in experienced the joy of snow?! My wife & daughter wish they could - no thanks. I like watching the mighty Spurs in warm temps even if it is stupid o'clock.
Merry Christmas to all eat drink lots and look forward to a successful 2018 <cheers>
