It's actually happened.

Come on people don't take the piss, we all know that next year is their year![]()
Quite enjoying this!
What I would say about Sterling is that I actually don't think he's very good. Of course, he has a lot of skill but so would a circus juggler. It doesn't necessarily make him a good footballer. He regularly seems to take on stupid shots when he has colleagues unmarked and in better positions. He is now demonstrating off the field what we know about him on it, that he is not a team player.
Ironically, if Liverpool get good money for him AND spend it wisely, they could be a better team without him (did I mention changing their manager as well !)

It all depends on what his lifetime objective is....if he is bright enough to have thought about such a thing.Sterling is at a crucial point in his career...has the talent, but needs guidance to get the best out of him. He has ended up at the wrong club, because they are in transition (to what I have no idea). He needs to be at a club who know where they are going....could have done better at Saints, Arsenal or even Spurs. ManU are still finding themselves, and perhaps van Gaal couldn't cope with Shaw and Sterling.
On the other hand, I don't agree with players thinking they can waltz away from a contract. Brendan has said Sterling is expected to see out his contract...been there, Brenda, watch this space. Raheem could learn from Morgan...after a French flounce, he settled down and had a very good season. Sterling is still young enough to wait another year. Too many players never live up to their potential because they chase the money and the good times instead of knuckling down.
Anyone seen this?... Apologies if so... but probably worth posting a couple of times anyway. Enjoy

The irony of the situation is so evident that it begged for a journalist to write it down. If only to show how unique and special the situation is, of course.
