He's earned the job.
He's never complained about the squad, he's shown total obediance to The Supreme Leader, and he's criticised the fans. What more could he have done to earn the job permanently?

That was useless statement. I bet he went to them:
"Supreme Leader, they're my people; they'll listen to me. I can make them stop protesting."

I highly doubt that this'll change anything with how the fans are viewing what they're doing. Like many have said, he can bring in Messi, and we won't ever trust him at all.

“No owner wants to run down a football club, it defies logic. What I know has happened is that there has been a 40% increase in the player budget, our players are on longer-term contracts, he has invested £2.5m to improve a stadium in need of renovation and made a multi-million investment in the academy’s facilities. These things could have been done before but weren’t. I know he is committed to the long-term future of this club and is determined to see that through.

Again banging on about how much they've spent. I'm yet to see a 40% increase in player ability/league position.

Can anyone be this stupid? The best thing Miere has done is stay silent considering the amount of bollocks she comes out with. Did they really think having Murray recycle the same thing would somehow make it better?

At least we have more dialogue to look forward to, maybe even more committees, councils, syndicates etc...

Is that seriously the 'announcement' that CAFC were going to make. Why bother? The only thing of note is Murray quoting problems with two managers overspending in the past. Both were his appointments, and the money they spent, he approved.
Oh yes, and 'patently some fans are not happy with the current situation' or words to that effect. Seriously RD? Who told you that? Maybe get out into the january sales and buy some more sofás. The way your friends are running the club, there will son be room for all the home fans on three or four 3-piece ones.

Pointless as we all suspected

Who asked the questions more like he is the questions we want you to ask

A great big zero of a statement. Why the advance publicity? He said absolutely nothing we didn't know already. The 40% increase in player budget- 40% of what? Doesn't tie in very well with financial security when we're heading for relegation. The club is still running at a loss and the debts are being charged at a whopping 3% pa in addition.
