Listened on radio
Sounded a poor game with not many chances

Next Saturday
Scarborough Athletic v Farsley Celtic

Scarborough Athletics 4 match unbeaten run came to an end today against yorkshire Rivals Farsley Celtic in front of a crowd of 1,186 ( second highest of the day as South Shields got 1,830 v Whitby )

A poor first half saw Scarborough have no shots on target and Farsley taking an early lead ...half time came with farsley going in with a deserved 2-0 lead

Better second half for Scarborough as Scarborough scored to make it 1-2...Farsley are a top side at diving / cheating and the seadogs should have had a penalty but for a bias ref

Farsley won 3-1 and were the better team

Though they did cheat

Was cityFILEY
MRS Blue Mountain Bear

Could well have been Scarborough Tiger before I moved from Scarborough to Filey about 6 years ago.

Lived most of my life up in this area hence adopting Scarborough Athletic when I stopped going to city. If I had been always living in Hull I am sure I would have started going to North Ferriby the nearest non league club even though they really are having a nightmare season.

Funny really I only intended to go to one game to get a footy fix as I was missing going to footy on a Saturday.

I never dreamed I would get hooked like I did.

I am lucky that I was allowed to do my Scarborough thread on here as I get to keep on this board . People may rant and fall out but the reality is we are all good mates even if we never meet everyone. I have met a number of people off here

Hope your keeping well.

( of course I still love Hull City and have this site on my phone as well as the latest score updates from Hull City's games )

Game was off last weekend as most games where in the lower leagues
Good thing is that's giving 3 of our players more time to get match fit and Scarborough will be back to almost full strength at last.
Will Annan back in training and should be ready to make a come back by the end of this month.

Scarborough Athletic v Stafford Rangers
On Saturday ...should be a home win .

In the north riding cup semi final draw

Middlesbrough v Maske

Scarborough Athletic v York City

The tie all Scarborough fans have been dreaming off...The Real North Yorkshire Derby

Come on you SEADOGS

Hopefully wins For Scarborough and Hull City this weekend

Derby County away is an away day I always liked when watching city

Only 156 at North Ferriby as they lose against the 2nd bottom team

They really are in a mess and need to make up 22 points

Scarborough Athletic 4 Stafford Rangers 1
926

Seems the gate was down by a couple of hundred today.....Bad weather and only about 10 Stafford supporters didn't help

The top teams are getting around 300-350

Apart from South Shields who had 1,500 +

Scarborough playing into the wind first half took an early lead then made it 2-0

Stafford found it hard to get the ball out of there half with the strong wind blowing huge kicks back at them. They scored before halftime thanks to scarborough cocking up in defense and passing to them instead of booting the ball up field

Stafford started second half strong but poor finishing saw them fail to score

Scarborough ended up well on top scored and got a penalty in injury time to run out 4-1 winners

Great day as usual but I had hoped City would get a point , maybe 3

Right time for tea and time to thaw out.
