Thanks Ernie she sure changed my life for the better as I never went out on my own till I got her . Got a bit agrophobic after treatment ...if some one was with me there was no problem Since I got Lia nearly 5 years ago I can go out all over without another human She was a rescue BUT she rescued me She won't leave my side when I take her out
They sure do chazz If my female friend is with me Lia runs off and plays like crazy with other dogs If it's just me and Lia she won't leave my side And she wimpers ( cries ) in the car as soon as we drive into the hospital car park....but never anywhere else She stays at home now on appointments days First dog I have had chazz so I was amazed by everything

John Deacey has gone Scarboroughs new manager Darren Kelly from Hyde United He did good at Hyde with no money and no supporters Lives near malton And use to play for Scarborough Happy days ahead .....fingers crossed
Come on you Seadogs Never in a million years did I think I would getting footy fever watching Scarborough play Still love Hull City of course
I've had dogs most of my life and much prefer them to humans, if you are kind to them they will be doubly kind back to you, unlike some humans I have had dealings with. My father once told my mother when he came home later one night that he prefered the dog to her, as the dog never asked him for money and whatever time he came home was pleased to see him. P.S. He was joking-- I think.
Awww Mr X Aberdeen My female friend Mary knows I love her, NEARLY as much as I love my dog Lia. She knows I am not joking
Scarborough Athletic 7 Staithes 0 North riding county cup round 1 Despite the score Staithes never gave up and played ok....They are about 3 leagues below Scarborough A good work out for the seadogs with our home game against Whitby coming up on Saturday That sure wont be easy
Lia in Brasov , Romania. I stumbled onto the video of her being found in the snow. I just had to have her. Strange how life goes because she rescued me from being a hermit I had never been out on my own in 4 years. She changed everything.
She looks an awful lot like a Hovawart, which is what I used to have. Called him Rommel, cause he was German and shat up the neighbours. But he was a big daftie.
That's beautiful Filey. Do you know how old Lia was when she was left in the snow.? What a lovely dog !! I've had six little rescue dogs...each of them my best friend. All of them dead now except my latest "Lucky". I say a prayer for all of them every day. Good luck to Scarborough under your new Manager. Hope he can get them back on the scoring track. I read your reports every week. Stay well !!!
R/E Lia The Romanian lady was sending her rescue dogs to a place in Canterbury at the time so girlfriend had to go collect her when Lia got to the UK..with the help of a co driver. Lia was and still is the best thing I have ever had ...she was about 1 year 6 months old when we got her..it's thought she had been born in the wild like hundreds of stray dogs are in Romania It was minus 35° when she was found so it was amazing she had survived just That's why I had to have her she was a fellow survivor as in 2008 when city played Bristol city I was in in Saint Catherines in scarborough and was told I had 4-6 months ! How wrong they where . So I loved her before she even got here She goes all over with me and walks like a trained care dog next to my mobility scooter....she just won't leave my side I am so lucky Within 2 months I was going out with just Lia I am fine....I can stand for hours...just right leg is fooked for walking as that's where worst of the C was... Getting c I met my girlfriend of 10 years and got Lia !! My life got better as mad as it sounds AND I met loads off here How great is that ! Anyway I best shut up or I will drive you all crazy with tales of Lia. She rescued me to be honest
The north Yorkshire coast derby day today SCARBOROUGH ATHLETIC 2 WHITBY TOWN 1 A winning start for Scarboroughs new manager Darren Kelly Scarborough played the best they have all season . Just goes to show the players had not being playing for John Deacey for some reason having won just 4 times this season Gone was the pass pass pass slow build up as Coulson found he could run and walshaw discovered he could beat a man A crowd of 1,356 turned up .about 150 away fans from Whitby and a cracking atmosphere at the flamingo land stadium I don't think anyone got thrown out which is unusual when Scarborough play Whitby A great day for the SEADOGS
