Does this mean if we'd gone for Mad Mick then Mclean would be our first choice striker?!?

Edit - hang on, havent they got Chopra, Scotland, Campbell and Murphy? How the hell is he going to get a game?

Campbell returned to QPR, I'm sure once they see Mclean play he will be keeping the bench warm.

Scotland's only played 25 minutes in the past 2 1/2 months and Campbell's gone, but they've also just signed David McGoldrick too.

Just a josh, you wont hear / read me slag him off. He gives literally his all which is all too rare nowadays and he'll run around like an idiot for you whilst bothering defenders, he's just not very 'blessed'. In fact, he's probably much better without the ball than he is with it. Other than that he's a bit of an annoyance in the 'office joker Colin Hunt Fast show' mode but he's harmless and the players seem to like him and there's a lot to be said for that.

If you follow him on Twitter you wont be disappointed - he bangs out tweets with alarming regularity...
