Only a few days ago Schteeve got the chairman's vote of confidence too

Reading the story, it seems that the vote of confidence from the chairman was only yesterday.
His recent results have been poor, but they're still fifth in the league and they're only six points off leaders PSV.
I didn't realise the vote of confidence was that recent.
Their position isn't that bad at all. Have the Venky's taken over Twente by any chance?
Despite their league position, they haven't won a game for two months, I assume they must have started the season very well, because their first home defeat of the season was only two weeks ago and their stats for the season so far are P/24 W/12 D/8 L/4.
Phil Brown to have a crack on the continent?
Him trying to do a Dutch accent would be a laugh.
But it's also ridiculous that time and again chairmen come out in the press and say that the manager has the board's full confidence and backing despite recent results. Then they sack him a couple of days later
