Scunthorpe have sacked their manager Stuart McCall. Andy Dawson in temporary charge - hope it works out well for him, the lower half of League 1 is crazily close this season.
Is Michael getting a game at Forest? Perhaps its time for Andy and Mike to get together. The brothers at Lincoln are doing a great job. Theres the template.
Daws as caretaker till ''almost out of contract'' Nigel takes over in the summer .... stranger things etc etc
If Ehab ****s Nigel around, he might just go for it, maybe the timing of McCall's sacking is a pointer?
He left Scunny on good terms, the fans still rate him and Crosby is one of their legends - the only saving grace for us is that the Scunny owner is in the same mode as ours i.e. flogging assets and belt tightening in the hope of selling.
If it were to come down to money and we couldn't 'compete' with Scunny, then Ehabs taken us even lower than I thought even he was capable of!
It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if he’d applied for the job. He’s in contract limbo with us.
I don't quite think that multi-million pound stadium improvements, and new housing and leisure facilities, at Glanford Park is belt tightening. Their owner though seems to be very thin skinned when it comes to criticism on social media. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Probably an understatement, he appears close to pistols at dawn with the leader of the local council and his failure to get planning on the Lincolnshire Lakes site.
Same mode as ours? He may not be universally popular but surely that is some serious insult of the owner of Scunthorpe United! And is he really wanting to sell? If so he can't be in the same mode as the Allams.
The same mode as in selling assets (players) and not replacing with those of a similar, or better, quality ..... I have lots of Scunny acquaintances, some like the owner, some don't, which is a bit like the Allams - even now, they still have their supporters.
Isn’t Swann a hell of a lot richer than the Allams? I always wondered why he didn’t bump the playing budget when they came up last time, but given what’s happened to Bolton and Birmingham, I suppose it makes perfect sense.
