Think there were mulitple sites saying we had tabled a 5 million bid for him. So that's pretty strongly linked id say.
Well on 2nd look it seems that they said we were EXPECTED to table a bid. So that might mean that its all a bunch of reporter nonsense.

It's been mainly The Mail who've been pushing the story(the racist one, not the Hull one).
A lot of what you say Fez relates to the fact that he was 16 when he committed this crime and I accept that a person is still in their formative years at that age. However 16 year olds know as well as we do how awful a crime this is and although they're relatively young I fully believe only a scumbag would do it, and I also personally don't think people as despicable as that do change.

No of course it doesn't. I am not saying that at all I am saying that it excuses it at all but the point you are ignoring is that rape in the DR Congo is a massive problem and if he had grown up around it the acceptability or immorality of it is not anywhere near where we would place it.
Bad people are born as the product of a Warzone riddled with rape and genocide... isolating them doesn't solve the problem.
What's that got to do with it? You don't get 15 years worth of upbringing in a western society stamped on your visa when you move to a new country.

Although what I will say is that can you please stop trying to suggest people on here are condoning rape just because they don't share the same view as you. No one is saying they condone rape it's a question or circumstances and second chances.
Thank god its just a small minority on this forum that want to give him a second chance, the majority, the NORMAL people want nothing to do with him.
