Mbokani - Another Sicknote

Who knows what might have been? If we do down that will - rightly or wrongly - be viewed as a turning point. Why oh why do clubs (us anyway) persist with leaving a month of dealings until the very last possible minute?

nah we wont go down.. we'll just have to rely on Niasse instead.

Signing someone with hardly any first team experience of any level to lead the line for a club in a barrel load of ****e was always going to be a bad move. We could've got a lot better for £1m, off the top of my head I'd rather have had Berbatov's wages for a year and I'm sure there are a lot better options around than him.

And before you argue he wasn't signed to lead the line, that's certainly what he was doing.

I wasn't arguing anything, he was a **** signing, I was just saying £1m is ****-all in Premier League terms.

I also don't believe we'd have got Berbatov on less than £20k a week, if we could, we definitely should have signed him.

It's Sport Witness, the football equivalent of the Sunday Sport.

They recently claimed we'd agreed to sign Muntari from AC Milan and Hernandez was on his way to Arsenal.

Really? He left Milan years ago! <laugh>

Edit - Unless they still own his contract and loaned him out, not 100% on that actually...

He'd scored 8 goals for Norwich the previous season. It looked like an absolute no brainer.

Henricksen has been another complete waste and Mason hasn't been much better (before the bad injury)
