I certainly think we have a few precious players in the squad, but then also wonder how hard do we actually train them considering how many muscle injuries we pick up. Maybe the preseason preparation wasn't good enough so they came into the season unfit so are more vulnerable to injuries!

There are a few moaners in the squad though and it really doesn't look good on the pitch... A few too many sulk when it doesn't go their way!

IF anyone can convince me that WM should stay on, I´d be surprised.

The comments after the game. The guy is mugging us all off. He has to go.

It's obvious we won't get another point this season. So, we will have 5 points less than last season and will finish at least 4 places lower. With no improvement from last season, which i believe was his remit, there's no excuse to keep him, the bloke has to go! I cannot see how he will be here next season. It's embarrassing to watch at the moment, surely the Pozzos see that!

Agreed Hornette, and it is a real possibility that "if" Hull win their final games even by 1-0 scorelines, our goal difference advantage given our next three fixtures would not be enough to save us from relegation. Sadly this has been on the cards for months even given our early points tally and the papering over the cracks with the Arsenal result etc, the results/ performances have been that bad. It feels like when will we be relegated and not if. The standard of the league surely can not be as bad again next season as this, even if we are still in it.

Not strictly true - if Hull win both remaining games, it means they will have beaten Palace - who will then have to win at Old Trafford to avoid the third relegation spot. Possible, but unlikely - I hope.

I really cannot believe that the Pozzos will 'stay loyal' to WM, even if we do stay up. If they do, I'm sure that plenty will start to question their motives - and suspect that the dross he has been responsible for week in and week out will drive a large number of fans away. Early days yet, I know, but I think I'm correct in saying that season ticket renewals for next season have been less than encouraging.

It would take an unlikely series of results to send us down, although, if Palace can win at Anfield then they can do it at Old Trafford. Are the Pozzo's really worried about dross played in the stadium or about stay away fans as long as we stay in the Prem ? My concern is that having seen the joker get us promoted he was pushed out. Having seen Flores achieve the said goal of surviving the first year in the Prem. he was also shown the door - what incentive is there for any good manager to come to Watford ? Or does the manager just have to be a 'yes' man regardless of what happens on the pitch ?

Man U will play a weaken side on the final day...so Palace could have a chance to pick up points..

Or 10% haven't - I seem to remember they had all renewed by this stage last year.

In any case, it shouldn´t have come to this this season.

That is why WM has to go.

I'm not really aware that bookies have any inside knowledge - but if we lost by those scores - which is entirely possible - we would end up with a GD of -31. If Hull won both their games by the smallest possible score (1-0), they too would end up with a GD of -31 and the same points total - but would be above us on goals scored. To avoid a nervous last match of the season, we need Palace to beat or draw with Hull next Saturday - or Sunderland to take points off Swansea. Or, of course, get something at Everton on Friday - can't see that though.

Spurs will be safely in 2nd place with nothing to play for as Chelsea will have wrapped up the title. Think I would take nothing more than 2 x 3-0 defeats and a 4-0 defeat in our last three as we could easily see a severe hiding coming up with the way we are playing at the moment.

In other words, we are not safe, and with the players we have we really should have done better this season and not still be worrying about getting relegated at this stage..it's ridiculous. The Pozzos have done everything right so far, except get the manager right, and this year, that hasn't just affected what goes on on the pitch, but also it's affected the fans' attitude to the club. It's all feeling slightly wrong right now, and i hope they can do something about it. I still believe (or maybe it's a blind hope) that they won't keep him beyond the end of the season. The trouble is that as Cologne says, what manager will be willing to come to Watford, because from the outside looking in, we should be thrilled with both last season and this, and the football, and entertainment value (of which there is simply none!) seems to be irrelevant as long as we stay up. All quite depressing!

Certainly not relying on other teams to dig us out!

We have got worse whilst others have improved.

Even the recent wins have been scrappy save for a good 1st v West Brom..
