Mazzarri's done one...

they both would be suited, MS leaves at the drop of a hat and Watford push at the drop of a hat.
I guess the 'not speaking English' thing pissed them off.

Statement | Walter Mazzarri

Chairman Scott Duxbury issues the following statement:

“After the Board discussed with Walter Mazzarri the club’s future goals and aspirations, it was decided he will be stepping down from his position as the club’s Head Coach after the final game of the 2016/17 season.

“We thank Walter and his staff for the contribution they have made to Watford Football Club over the past year.”

Watford keep sacking managers who've done a good job. Before Mazzarri there was the guy who took them up and then Flores who did well and after getting sacked by Watford he got a decent club in Spain. I'd get Silva in ahead of Ranieri which seems daft when Ranieri won the friggin' PL.

I'm not sure where Watford expect to finish in the league , they seem to keep getting rid of managers who've done a decent job
Even there fans are unrealistic.
Moaning on Talk sport last night that they should be pushing above 10th position.

I don't think these owners will go for Marco , they seem a bit deluded in their expectation so all they will see is a manager who didn't win an away game and took us down , we know it's not as simple as that , but I'm rather hoping that's how a lot of owners see it and the offers don't come ..... Wishful thinking I know!

Have to say if ever a club had over inflated expectations it's them. What do they think is their 'correct' place in the pecking order when they keep sacking managers for getting them promotion or half way up the Premier League? I suppose they'll say that this strategy has worked well for them so far, but must admit they are not a club I respect at all now, when they were a great club under Graham Taylor and Elton John. Really hope Marco doesn't go there to be sacked after a year if they don't get into Europe

Same with puel at soton. Done a good job. They may even have won the cup if the board hadn't sold their center back to wham in january. They had to play a kid there in the final.

Not sure it was entirely their fault. Sounds like a situation similar to Jan here.

JF: I spoke to the club and said there could be possibilities [to move] and I would like the club to consider it.

GS: Seven years with the club shows you were a good servant. Did the club not get that? If someone is coming to you offering a better deal, then Southampton had to understand that you was in demand. I think you can't have enough experienced players in the dressing room - you won't have a successful team if you don't have people like yourself, good seasoned pros that put the lesser likes in the dressing room in their place before it becomes a problem.

JF: I appreciate what the club had done for me since day one but we all have to take care of our families. There were offers that came in that would take care of my family in ways that Southampton weren't willing to. It's a difficult situation.

I arrived in the Premier League late at 29 years old - you still have to live 50 years after football. You do your best for yourself and your family. You've got to fight for what you believe. I respected the club, but they weren't willing to find an agreement and reach a compromise.
