Oh no cracking voice great show lady a powerhouse , will miss her unique voice , unfortunately a lot of the unique voices who’ve had long careers are getting to that age now , can’t think of too many who will last anything like as long of recent years - maybe I’m just old

Remember when we used to run out to 'simply the best' and the music would cut and if we had a buoyant enough crowd in the fans would sing the rest of the chorus - but like we do with "falling in love with you"... ?

We should do that again first home game next season.

My Mum died on the 17th February this year, and my Dad died shortly after on the 20th May. She was 88 and he was 93.

Sincere condolences ThunderCity, that is very sad news losing both parents within a very short space of time. Hope you can take some comfort in that they were both of a good age, and you were very fortunate to have them both in your life for a great length of time.

Please remember, the loss is immeasurable, but so is the love and memories left behind.

Take care of yourself. RIP to your Mum & Dad <rose><peacedove>
