Yeah, if he's up to scratch we are desperate for a left sided winger to finish the team off really (and a striker).

What you reckon he'd cost? The 25k a week wouldn't be an issue.

We rejected a bid of 2.5 mill from west ham last week. But i think weve put a 3 million pound tag on his head. Mainly because hes only 12 months left on his contract. Plus i think were desperate to keep snodgrass having turned down 5 mill for him from norwich.

Now this is the bit where i get confused..

This Max kid, maybe he is good enough, and could produce the goods, but not one mention, of he'd need time to adapt to the prem etc etc etc.

Whereas the club have spent a lot of money on the other wonderkid from the championship, and everyone wants him wrapped up in cottonwool. **** that he's big enough, he's strong enough and he's old enough.

Get them in, get them training, get a pre-season done, let them play. I'm still convinced we are gonna see more of Wickham than some think, early on.

These lads could be just what we're looking for, now we've got some more experienced players in.

£3million ain't even a gamble in truth, this one gets more appealing by the minute.

Snodgrass is a top lad, i've arranged some trips away for him in the past, really down to earth fella, good footballer as well.

I agree Comm, i reckon Whickham may start on the left vs Liverpool, with Sess behind Gyan.

Totally agree with this, we didn't shell out all that money to leave him sidelined or give him the odd 10 minute run out. He's a big lad and certainly shouldn't need cotton wool treatment as you say.

As for this Max bloke, more I hear about him the more I think it's sounds promising.

I might be wrong but is Gradel a right footer? We could really do with a left for some balance.
How would you compare Gradel to Sanchez Watt? Obviously a lot younger, but left footed and look's good, albeit in the very few times I have seen him.

He kept watt out of the side for just about the season. Watts a real talent but sadly he isnt a patch on maxi. Thats why i doubt watt will be back at leeds. Weve got a lad called Ramon Nunez who i believe will be amazing for us this year. Honduran international, and can play left, right or behind the striker. Awsome player. But give it a year and he will be picked off.

Beware of smurfs from Honduras that go by the name of Nunez, especially of video footage, you may end up with the wrong one.......anyone remember Milton?

You got it mate. We loaned for the last 5 games of the season and scored 3. We seem to be pretty good at picking up these overseas players. Luciano Becchio, Davide Somma, Mike Grella, Ramon Nunez.

Were good enough to go up this season, regardless of if we lose a class act in maxi. If your good enough to play with Drogba your good enough to play prem football

many sunderland fans may disagree but I wouldn't mind us having a look at Becchio, always been impressed when I've watched him.

Has there been any more news on this or was it just a bit of fishing from Leeds to get a bid for a player almost out of contract?

Id be very happy if we signed him. Dont think its true that Leeds offered him to us though. Fulham and the Scumbags up the road have showed an interest in him before, and they said he wasnt for sale.

He looks and plays abit like Shaun Wright-phillips

The last time I saw Shaun Wright Phillips he was in Anton Ferdinands back pocket. One of the worst performances I've seen by a player at the sol and that's really saying something. Against a player out of position too. Strange as the game we played them when city had just bought him he was the difference and won them the game.
