why is this Donald Duck still claiming HIS Leeds UTD are the be all and end all of all football clubs, because they can boost a rich history of triumph and glory. Because HIS city is the hippest and most vibrant of all the country. Tainted glass i might think. 1st of all Mr Quack, ur club with the deep history is NO more, it ended when you slimmed your way out of millions of debt and re-named your club Leeds Utd 2007 to which your only honour of note is finishing every season since way behind Swansea in points and also in footballing terms. So if we wished to flex Our weight and pick up ur best player so that WE chose to be on the bench, am sorry Mr Quack you have no right to try and chuck your fat beer belly weight around!!!!
Leeds is far a bigger city to Swansea, but am sure you must hear it every night in bed with your mrs, size doesnt matter

too many people Leeds is just another urban decay of a city full of crime and hate.
Thought this thread was going to resolve itself on good terms.
1. Where have I been banging on about history on this thread? I think club size does affect a player's choice sometimes, and history affects a club's size usually because clubs with a richer history tend to have a larger fanbase which makes them a bigger club. (Tend to.) Don't think I've been talking about the past on here though, unless I've been hit by sudden memory loss.
2. I think Leeds is an excellent city which is on the up. I've freely admitted that areas of it are crime-ridden and poor, but why would that affect a player wanting to come to Leeds? Our bad areas are no worse than those in Manchester or London, and our good areas are among the best. Leeds is the hub of Yorkshire, a stable city which isn't set to go bust and a very attractive proposition for a young player to live. In my honest opinion, Swansea isn't, though I'm not saying you find it hard to attract players, just that Leeds by our location have an inbuilt advantage to some extent.
3. The LUFC 2007 thing is a poor argument, tends to be a last resort from bitter Sheff Utd fans. The club we are today is identical to the one then - we play at Elland Road, we kept the same players and staff, most crucially of all we kept exactly the same fans. It is the same club, let's not be shortsighted and pedantic about it.
4. If you choose to 'throw yourself around', we can rebuff the offer or sell. Either way, we're in the driving seat, even more so because Gradel's said he'll happily extend his stay at Elland Road.
Jibes I'm awaiting:
- Leeds are just looking to sign a bunch of crocks
- You don't even own your ground
- Papa Smurf won't buy you any players
- All your squad are getting sold
