Yes agree he should be given his chance but we still need someone else to cover. It is good that we have started to see more players recently coming through to the first team. Hopefully this will encourage other talented youngsters to sign with us.

He did great, Max Clark has been a name kicking around our development squads for quite a while now as one to watch. Hoping he takes his opportunity with both hands.
I was actually surprised to see he was 21, I thought he was 2 or 3 years older.

Weirdly I got slated last week for daring to suggest that Clark might have had a word and offered himself up as a left back. I think he could easily develop into a tidy full back, though we still need a proper experienced left back.

Did ok at Villa, if he is to develop into a left back he needs someone to learn off. How about the club going for Andy Dawson as part of the training set up? He has done a lot of coaching now and would be a good fit.

Funny thing is he was a left back at 14 and made a name for himself as our next big thing even then thanks to playing for the England youth teams above his age and even captaining one of the England sides.

Since then he seems to have developed into a midfielder and then back into a left back again.

You did by me! Not for suggesting it! But for implying that he offered himself up for the position to sluts! Then I said " can I play up front? " <laugh> in all honesty it was a good shout by you! :emoticon-0148-yes:

I don't really follow the youth set up, but when you look at his background , it points to a lot of potential to become a good full back.

He looked a little slow from explosive sprint starts, but easy to develop. Seemed to read the game well and not scared to get stuck in. He just needs an experienced left back to bring on the more intricate parts of been a top level full back

If Musa doesn't sign for us there is still hope for you with a role up front mate, Campbell looked shattered after 70m ins, maybe you can do the last 20?

Once upon a time I think he used to keep Luke Shaw out of whatever England age group they were in together.

I think he's got the potential to go far but like many of the players to come out of our youth set up, he could do with adding some size on.

You've just answered my question- I was going to say didn't he play LB for his England appearances.

Started lb and the went to cb, I'm pretty sure. Then movedin to cm.

I really hope he gets a run at. It. I ****ing hate the thought a Chelsea loanee of a similar age comes in and takes his place. What's the point of it all then??

I hope he does well. My lad loves the idea of home grown players playing in the first team. May be a blessing Tymon left. Opens the door for someone else.
