Hard to see how we are going to avoid the drop this season - if we do somehow manage it, it will be through other team's misfortunes than our own merits. We are lured into false optimism every now and again when we scrape a reasonable result like at Peterborough - lets be honest, none of us would have wagered much money on us getting a point up there, and then we crash and burn again the next time we take to the pitch. Normal service has been resumed, we can't score goals, we can't defend, we have no passion running through the squad these days, it's looking more and more as though we can't attract any quality players to the club, let alone a striker of some sort and our recruitment all season has been woefully lacking. Really hope I'm wrong, but I still feel league 2 beckons - part of me thinks at least we would see some victories in league 2 and the football would be more enjoyable, but with the squad we currently have, I wouldn't even back them to do particularly well in that division!
