Welbeck's little chip over Vorm, showed to me they were playing with us, and it all stemmed from us dropping our draws with those first two goals, there was never going to be a way back for little old Swansea after that, they're body language said it all in the end so did the 4-1 scoreline Dai!...............![]()
The same Wellbeck who scored THAT back-heel for England with the score finely poised at 2-2 in the European Championship finals? ... it is in his nature to attempt the flamboyant at any time ... and at 3-1 with seconds left he had nothing to lose and a well executed chip had more chance of success from that angle than merely blasting at Vrm with the hope that it would somehow find its way through him. Don't think they were 'playing' with you at any time. In fact they were visibly panicking at the back after Bony's goal and it was just a shame that the best chance then fell to Rangel - I'd have fancied you to get a draw if that had gone in. The scoreline undoubtedly flattered United - not saying they didn't deserve to win.
