Dont mean to open the old left back debate up again but we looked far better when Harding came on. I would start him against pompey.

As far as Bart was concerned I think his early fumble unnerved him. The back four as a result were unsteady and unsure and too predictable. Why are we playing spider out on the wing, he is useless out there? We are very disjointed because of it. I haven't read many of the posts but I have to say in my opinion the ref was a disgrace. He constantly blew for the second foul missing the first one. He missed 3 yes 3 stone wall penalties. Not with standing a couple of other ones that could have been given on another day. Blackpool showed their experience in how to win free kicks I was so pleased that their delaying tactics in the end cost them all three points in a way. They did not deserve anything out of the game in my opinion.

Bart and Hammond were our worse players in my opinion. I let Bart off though as he hasn't played a league game in 2 years. Hammond on the other hand was always out of position. Blackpool's first goal was down to poor positioning of the centre midfield. I see Cork as the more adventurous and see Hammond as the holding/defensive. Well he didn't do that job for the goal. We left Phillips on his own between the defence and midfield on his own. He was there main threat in my opinion. We should have been 3 up before then anyway.

Fox looked fine to me today... Didn't put a step wrong in my opinion. I think our midfielder left us too bare at times.

I know what he is going through but I meant that he needs to rest and not play for a while to get his head right.He looked high today.

 

He's a left back, you can't expect him to produce magic every game.

Davis made a mistake exactly like that against Brentford last seaosn when we lost 2-0. He came back stronger and made few errors after that. Why are people trying to make out he shouldn't even be a professional goalie after 1 poor game. Laughable.
