Vaughan at left wing will have 3 main outcomes.
1) Vaughan will struggle and become a crowd boo boy (he isn't a winger, has stated he doesnt want to be a winger and consequently will be lousy as a winger)
2) The lad will become pissed off playing in a position he isn't used to, doesnt want to play in and becoming the brunt of fans frustrations
3) We will struggle as a unit and look as lop sided as we have done for 3 or 4 years.
Every man and his dog (and their dog to be honest) knew we needed a left winger this summer. If we get to the end of August and one hasn't been brought in, I think for all the good work done by Bruce so far, this will be a massive mistake and one he may well regret. Square pegs in round holes dont work. We are the past masters of this failed strategy for about 30 years now.
1-0 may not be the end of thew world against Burnley but pre season or not, its still very poor with only 2 games now between us and a resurgent Liverpool at Anfield. That was almost a full team out there as well dont forget.
your right Cest arse twitching time but still time to realise a left winger is urgently required
