... a nil nil draw for me with six players sent off for excessive designer handbag swinging .. .. especially assuming we beat the mighty canaries. ...
Sunderland losing to the Spanners, today, has got to be a massive incentive to Norwich. All we need is for them to draw, and we could go top, this weekend.
So who do you want to win the final fellas? I really don't want to see Sterling lift that Cup the little ****er!
Practically guaranteed Super Sunday: Man Utd v Arsenal in the big game of the day. Arsenal will want all 3 points to claw back Leicester's lead at the top, to try and maintain their title push. LVG got a much needed win against Midget Land in the week, but he's up against it today. Spuds v Swansea. Swansea are having a nightmare of a season, Spurs should win this one easily to be honest. Then it's the Capital one cup final Liverpool v Man City. Could go either way. Both teams are blowing hot and cold. It will depend on who wants it more today and I suspect that will be Liverpool.
... it's quite a big cup .. you probably wouldn't see him behind it ..gonna enjoy it. .. nice to see a pair of the Prems lesser lights getting a chance to shine
Perfect scenario today would be an Arsenal win and Swansea win, pissing of the Mancs and the Spuds Followed by a Liverpool win, pissing off the Mancs and the Spuds.
I'm expecting a good day of football today. Arsenal will see this game as one they want to push for the win due to Leicesters late goal yesterday, when normally a point would be seen as a good result at OT. And if Utd want any hope of top four they need to start taking points and making those above them drop points. Both sides will want a win and Utd appear to have some injury issues in defense that could make this turn into a very open game rather than the usual bore fest it is watching Utd try to defend a 0-0. And even though the League Cup is the least important of the domestic trophies it's given us a good final this year. Man City have been wavering throughout the season, not quite clicking and struggling in defense with no Kompany. They could see this final as a way of reigniting there season and belief. Meanwhile Liverpool have been very up and down with performance levels while trying to adapt to Klopps style but you get the feeling this cup means a lot to the players and fans (they have nothing else to play for and this cup could put a bit of shine onto an otherwise unspectacular season) and also that Klopp is taking it very seriously. I think we will see a very committed performance from Liverpool, I'm expecting very high energy levels. Should be a good game as neither team has looked particularly stable.
I'm almost certain it will be a bore draw at OT. Manure will park the bus and Arsenal will just play their usual tippy tap innefective football for 90 mins. The game will end, A87 will be frothing at the mouth at how Arsenal just lack bottle etc etc, Piskie will claim it is a good point.. you know the drill.
I think we'll park the bus. We have no defenders apart from children so it'll be 11 behind the ball and hope for a 0-0.
