Audio from his ex along with pictures of him assaulting her sexually and physically. Suspect he won't be seen on a football pitch for a long time.

Evidence seems pretty damning tbh. There was a recent exposé by a French journalist on all the shady **** that goes on in football, including sexual assault and domestic violence.

Pretty disgusting what’s been posted but why is this woman choosing to do this this way? Is it modern society where every element of your life gets posted ?
There will be a lot more I’m sure and the lawyers are going to pick over every little detail.
He has a right to privacy and has she secretly recorded him?
Very very messy

Probably better chance of a pay out also makes it look very bad to in the public eyes seeing it themselves and she also has a right if this has occurred more than once which has prompted her to record it.

Should people who do that or worse have rights?.

Brings it immediately to attention and much harder for Greenwood to pay her off/make it go away with little consequence.

Reckon the second you become violent you forfeit any and all rights to privacy.

I agree and she was probably very frightened so recorded the audio in case anything worse happened afterwards or during, video of injuries was obviously after the event so she made that as soon after the event while it was still showing pretty bad and before she was made to clean up.

Fewer than one in 60 rape cases lead to charges, let alone convictions. Secretly compiling evidence and using the court of public opinion is the closest thing to justice many victims of sexual assault and domestic violence will ever get.

I’m not disagreeing with that syd but I wonder what he’s got recorded on her
Has she seen lawyers already and they’ve advised her?
He seemed horrible **** on the pitch too

Some fair points Chazz.

By posting it on social media IF she decides not to support any police prosecution it will likely not prevent the CPS from bringing the matter to court (a good thing as too many victims of domestic violence stop prosecutions going forwards by withdrawing their statements).

He loses any right to privacy if it is linked to any act or omission that may be criminal.

If the audio can be authenticated, MG could be looking at some serious charges relating to sexual activity without consent.

The language used in the audio suggests that MG may have done this previously in this relationship (and / or outside of it)…

The whole point of domestic violence is that it’s behind closed doors. No one sees it and as Kalman says many times no one even believes it. There is no right to privacy here. If she had left then in most cases the next victim gets the same treatment. She has done the right thing in exposing this behaviour whatever way she has done it. It sickens me that a person can do such vile things to a partner and I applaud her actions in exposing him.

not sure if this is how you do a link but just seen him on the subs bench.

They had to put something out. They are right that these are allegations at the moment and they will not want to prejudice any potential Police investigation (assume GMP or Cheshire Police depending on where the alleged offences took place).

A developing situation…

I didn't think you could prejudice a police investigation? Either it's happened or it hasn't. Someone saying they think it has shouldn't have any bearing.
