OK... Hull City fan in peace here, now we have got shot of that Steve Bruce.

He is stubborn and will stick to how he wants to play football. That is his strength and his weakness.
He was popular with our fickle fans when things went well and the same fans wanted his blood when he was struggling and the players downed tools
Steve had the habit of pulling our strikers off after we went 1 nil up and trying to defend that lead
He's pig headed and puts his preferred 'style' before results.
He seemed to think the performance was more important than actually winning games.
He lacks pragmatism, he's defensively inept and his in game management is virtually non existent.
On the plus side, his sides can play some very attractive football when on the front foot, and his transfer business was generally good (Niasse aside)
His positive outlook is refreshing, but really starts to grate when things are going badly and he still ploughs on with his 'phenomenal' soundbites.
I don't think he's the man you need in your current predicament
I think the eternal optimism is part of the new manager makeup.
Just look at Howe, Klopp, Rodgers and Bobby. They all see the positives in the performance.
Hope he gets a crack again in the PL, a nicer man you are unlikely to meet
Not sure I agree, I heard Klopp being very honest in his appraisal of some of the RS's performances last season, as did Koeman at Soton (one of the reasons I was really impressed with him tbh, way before he was linked with us)
Martinez is a nice bloke, I hope he can reflect on the real reasons for his failure at Everton and adapt his management style accordingly, but I'm not sure that's in his makeup personally.

I had it down as him getting the Spain if, but this is just as high profile. Made up for him, he could have taken the soft option and worked in Scotland
