Off Topic MARTINEZ COUNTDOWN

Kenwright on Howe:

"Eddie - almost his first words to me were I will get you top half. What a manager."

I reckon it's Howe according to the somehow itk folks doing the betting.

Eddie Howe would have been in with a great chance if Kenwright was still running the show. As he's a Blue as well as being a promising up and coming young manager, he'd be a Kenwright type appointment.

He's not the level that Moshiri has in mind though.

So the betting forums are using out of date logic ;)

EDIT: not sure which betting forums you were reading either mate, as the name that's come shooting in from nowhere to 2/1 is Joachim Low

That one might be later. I was only looking about earlier.

Low is an interesting link. He's a big name now but cos he's managed best ever German team.

Before that he's never had a big team.. lots of dross.. and worse he never lasted long according to my extensive wiki search lol.

In fairness to him stuttgart back in the 1990s were good.

So......

Happy?

I think it'd be churlish to turn your nose up at a manager who's won the World Cup like, but as you say his club career is limited.

It's an odd link.

The next manager betting markets are one of the easiest to make money out of btw. It only takes relatively small amounts of cash to make the odds tumble. So what you regularly see in these markets is punters backing a rank outside in to short odds, and then laying him like **** when the sheep see the odds tumble and assume that it's happened due to some insider knowledge. The pro's create it and then milk it for all its worth.

Yes. He is a charismatic character.

I totally agree.. hence why I asked if you really had the name. It's a mugs market picking guys unless you know. Once itK the bet is great value usually.

Like moyes to utd. That one was 13/1 on the morning due to the disbelief.

But yeah... special skill required

The Martinez move was telegraphed by Moyes and anyone who would normally bet on these things must have been crazy to miss out, paid for my ST that year.

I don't have a name of who's the most likely.

I said before I knew we'd sounded out 4 and I knew the identity of one of the 4.

From what I've been told the ambition is high, so that would rule out most of the more predictable names linked.

Dropping her off to watch TDY with friends and then on my way. Looking forward to seeing the fans boo Fowell and Pennington.......

Enjoy, it promises to be a phenomenal afternoon, a moment when the players show some real character.

I'll be booing whilst cutting the grass :)

Winning the World Cup with Germany is like winning the SPL with Celtic
