Martin Recall?

Can Martin be recalled by Derby this month? Given that we are getting close in terms of points to the play off zone, I am concerned that we might finish up another player short in a threadbare squad.
I know overall Martin's contributions have not been great prior to yesterday but better him than nobody and there is a chance that he may start to gain confidence and that we are learning how to use him best.

My thought is that Derby may recall him on 31 January to make our squad light even if they are not going to play him. Another thought was that if he hasn't played for Derby in August they might fix a deal to loan him to a club near the bottom and recall him from City.

There's generally an agreement that a player isn't recalled in January after the 15th, so it's unlikely and they were desperate to get him off the wage bill (or at least partly off the wage bill, I'm sure we're not paying all his wages).

I wouldn’t be so sure. It’s exactly what West Brom did to us 11 years ago with Neil Clement. They didn’t want him back - they just didn’t want him playing for us.

Did you mean Frank Lampards Derby by any chance? I wasn't sure of the significance of this post.
