Not yet - Shaw is far too inexperienced to play any more than a handful of PL games this season.
Fox has his bad points like hoofing it forward and giving the opposition too much space, but is generally not a weakness, and with Shaw coming through I think Olsen is not required
Said it before and i'll say it again, just because we need a CB doesn't stop us looking at other players.
I think another LB would be good to have. If Fox gets hurt or a straight red Shaw will have to start. That seems risky to me if it is early in the season. Maybe by mid season my confidence in Shaw will be higher. As much as we need a CB, I think we still ned a LB too now that Harding has left.
Its does stop you looking if the Don has a limit on his transfer budget and we are near it. We have spent somewhere in the region of £10M this summer, how much more can there be to get a quality central defender?
What a dafty, the transfer budget is a lot more than 10 million. I would say if the right opportunities present themselves it's uncapped within reason. I fully expect another 15-20 million spent!

No one on here knows what the transfer budget is so whats the point in speculating what it is. Completely pointless. Could be around 10 mill for all you know.
Yet we have spent that already and Adkins has said we are after more players. So doubt it very much.
Adkins has already said he is looking at a few more players to bring in. A few is more then one, plus I only said looking at not sign. I'm sure if the right player comes along we will be interested.
