Rumours that he’s being lined up to be involved in the new Scotland national team set up.

What do we think?

I personally think that he’s been dealt a far worse hand than even he probably thought, and he has been completely hamstrung by Ellis Short.

Might not be the worst thing in the world having a root and stem clearout, but Short ultimately needs to go IMO.

If he's been identified for an international position he must be doing things right.We'll be losers again as when BSA left.
Short needs to leave asap
 
Bad news for me. I'd have to have a look at how the financial state of the club has improved since his arrival to comment on that but going off what I do know, which is that he's had nothing to spend, I think he's done tremendously well in the market.

Mistakes have been made too but they've been outweighed by his good work. As far as I'm concerned he's virtually blameless with regards to our current situation. Short on the other hand...

The only bloke who should leave this club is Ellis Short.
Everyone from Bain downwards is hamstrung the minute they walk through the door.
This is probably the main reason we haven't been able to secure any decent signings for a number of years.
As everyone on here knows the blame lies with Mr Short and even if he walked out today I fear its already too late to save this season.

Unfortunately Short won't have the common sense to make any effort to get him to stay.
 
I think he’s done reasonably well given the handicaps, but he certainly hasn’t used contacts within the game to help out so much either.

He’s done okay, but it wouldn’t make a massive difference to lose him.

I heard this link has come from this side of the boarder and he isn't even being considered.
