Lots of formerly uninhabited islands that "Allah didn't put people on".

Yes and Mars is another

Earth is the only one perfectly formed for humans, as Allah intended

It’s no life on Mars if we have to live in a big glass dome and have to wear space suits and breathing equipment just to take the trash out

Life on Mars sounds fun

I wouldn't want to live on Mars... At least not for the first several generations.
Send the white collar convicts to Mars... Aussie 2.0.

Plenty of now colonized islands have people living on them where food or water may not be readily available.

Heck, lots of Arabia is unlivable without outside links. Living on Mars will suck for a few generations but it can be done. I don't want to go, but there are no shortage of volunteers.

Technological advances have grown exponentially.

The exploration of other worlds will go similarly imo.

We are currently at the industrial revolution stage of space travel. Once we colonise a few nearby planets and/or their moons we'll progress quicker to those outside our solar system, much in the same way we've advanced at an increased pace technologically in the past 100 years.

Unfortunately none of us will be alive to see it.

Except Munse, who's going to freeze his head.

Personally I think the human race will end before it escapes this planet.
