Watching footy mate.
I always thought black holes were created by imploding supernova which would suggest the void had stars in it

The only way I can honestly answer that is you can only draw your conclusions by what you choose to find/research. I think the theories, because that's all they are of black holes, maybe different to what we originally believed. That's the good thing with imagination, which is all we really have at this time.

The thing about Newton, Gallileo, Einstein, Bohr, etc, is that they could speculate on the phenomena and actions of nature about them, and could devise calculations and tests to prove their theories thereof. How the hell do you prove anything about the inside of an object in which all of time, space and the laws of nature that we know of break down?

Tell yer mate, I can't believe I actually listened to a 45 minute video on the topic. The simple 6 minute planet one was normally my level.

I love science and the way things are "discovered", it usually starts with an unexplainable phenonminom being observed and theory's put forward to explain it.
The theory's are then tested and if proved we have an answer, great.

What pisses me off is when scientists (and religious folk) don't just turn around and say "we haven't got a ****ing clue" when asked about the beginnings of everything <laugh>

I'd just love to go back to when I first learned about the space race at school. Just so I can tell the teacher, you are wrong and know nothing, and in decades to come, we will prove you've not even scratched the surface. While turning to walk out the room, and saying the moon, we're on our way to mars! Oh and there's no aliens on mars btw. *slams door shut.

The day Bowie died was the day i knew i was old :(

I parked the car in the company car park just as the 19yo apprentices dad was dropping him off, as we walked in together i told him i had just heard on the radio that Bowie was dead, he said "who?"
I just told him to forget it <laugh>

Frightens the shhite out of me, everytime I google a footballer player....born in 2000...something....what is this scary shhite. <laugh>

Just as I was waking up the other morning, a dark. cold, realisation hit me like a paving-stone in the face that I was in my late 40's and had achieved absolutely nothing in my life, and that many family members I'd just seen in my dreams were dead and I'd never see them again. Then, as a freezing chill shot through my consciousness, I fully awakened and realised - **** me, it's worse than that.... I'm 60. :emoticon-0104-surpr

We’re not expected to understand all of the Lord’s thinking…just recognise that something far grander than what limited human minds and their mathematics can muster up is taking place and has always taken place.

I’m sure the Lord spends many an hour on a daily basis laughing at his pathetic creation and their imaginative minds.

Thats like me giving you huge buckets of sand and saying in one of those buckets is one specific grain. I want you to look after it, it resembles the planet Earth. You can't see into that one grain of sand, but there lives billions of something called human beings on it. You have in your comment given human minds a sense of grandeur and purpose, by believing that the Lord thinks of us, yet we are insignificant, it wouldn't matter if we didn't exist before or after death. So the Lord would have no reason to laugh at us, because we are but a mere particle.
