The Mark Halsey who never sent off Callum Macmanaman for the tackle on Haidara, that Mark Halsey? I know he was a mag, but that goes down as one of the worst decisions in red card/no red card history. He admitted this year that it was the worst mistake of his careeer for “missing the challenge”, that would have seen him sent off.
Come on you bumbling buffoon, if you “missed it”, you can’t make a decision on something you haven’t seen. He can’t even openly admit to making the wrong decision. He clearly didn’t miss the incident, he made an error, an inexcusable error and now has the gall to sit there and criticise what most people, including a refereeing panel, thought was a genuine red card. This looking down of Former Premier League, or current ones for that matter, on lower league referees is ****ing ****. That’s what you get for classing themselves as elite I suppose. They think they are elitist and we know what that brings don’t we?

What I don't get is that he says 1) it definitely wasn't a red card and 2) the only reason that it wasn't overturned is because the TV angle wasn't clear enough to show that it was an error. Now, unless I've missed something, what ****ing angle has he seen then? Assuming that all he's seen is the TV angle, he admits that it's not clear enough to overturn, so how can he be so certain that it was a bad decision? If it was that obvious the panel would have overturned it, and his two statements can't both be right

Looks like Lambert i a bit of a sore loser ....

"Ipswich Town manager Paul Lambert has been fined £1,750 for comments after their League One loss at Lincoln last month.

Lambert admitted a Football Association improper conduct charge relating to comments about referee Kevin Johnson.

The official awarded a penalty against Ipswich which saw them lose 1-0 at Sincil Bank on 24 October."
