The manager isn't going to play him for whatever reason, so he's no use to them except as a saleable asset. Don't know about his character but clearly Bowyer was keen to sign him, and his stats over the last few seasons are impressive, especially for assists. Look at our midfield- Gallagher gone, Cullen going, Pratley 34, which is an achievement for a midfielder, Docherty an unproven short-term loan, Morgan still learning his trade, Field going, J F-C made of glass, Williams injury-prone. We should be backing Bowyer with regard to Maddison.
